Research Progress of Metal/TiO2 Photocatalysts

Abstract: Metal/TiO2 composites are a typical class of photocatalysts, of which significant progress has been made. In this paper, the preparation methods for metal/TiO2 photocatalysts have been stated and analyzed in detail, of which the principles, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the effects for photocatalytic performance. The application of metal/TiO2 photocatalysts and some issues encountered for the photocatalysis have been described. According to the issues, corresponding improvement strategies have been also proposed.
