Abstract: Using commercial low melting temperature glass powders, Ce3+: YAG phosphor as raw materials, low melting temperature phosphor glass (LMTPG) was successfully prepared by silk-screen printing and low-temperature melt-quenching method. The LMTPG films were studied by differential scanning calorimeter, X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence spectrum, and so on. The results showed that the glass phase was still the major phase in films, the glass transition temperature of LMTPG films were from 372 ℃ to 410 ℃. Experiments showed that LMTPG with 14wt.% Ce3+: YAG phosphor sintered at 570 ℃ for 3 h could get the best LMTPG sample with the luminescent effect of 119 lm/W.
