Copyright Statement

All authors are required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement. This agreement transfers the entire copyright of the work—including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, adaptation, translation, public performance, and communication to the public via any medium (print, electronic, or otherwise), throughout the world—to the Journal of Ceramics.

Authors retain the right to:

  • Incorporate the work into their own personal compilations or future works, provided proper acknowledgment is given to the original publication in the Journal of Ceramics (including the journal name, year, volume, and issue number).

  • Use figures, charts, or excerpts from their own work in other publications they author, with appropriate citation to the original publication.

For all readers and users:
The articles are made freely available on the official website of Journal of Ceramics for reading, downloading, and sharing. However, all materials are protected by copyright law. Without prior written permission from the editorial department of the Journal of Ceramics, no one is permitted to:

  • Republish or  redistribute the work for commercial purposes.

  • Systematically distribute the published materials (e.g., to a mailing list, or within a course pack) for commercial gain.

To facilitate the sharing and dissemination of academic knowledge while protecting the copyright of the journal and authors, all articles published in Journal of Ceramics are made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

This license allows others to download your work and share it with others as long as they credit you and the journal, but they cannot change them in any way or use them commercially.

For any uses beyond the scope of this license, including commercial use, republication in another journal or book, or creation of derivatives, permission must be obtained in writing from the Editorial Department of Journal of Ceramics.

Author Responsibilities and Warranties

By submitting a manuscript, authors warrant that:

  1. The work is original and has not been published previously, nor is it under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  2. All authors have contributed substantially to the work and approve the final version.

  3. The work does not contain any libelous or unlawful statements and does not infringe upon the rights of others.

  4. All necessary permissions have been obtained for the use of third-party material.

  5. They have secured approval from relevant authorities if the work involves confidential or classified information.

Authors are liable for any breaches of these warranties.
