Abstract: Design language is the basic element of design, as well as the way of expression of design thoughts and emotions. Based on the characteristics of environmental ceramics, the application and emotion expression of design language in environmental ceramics design are studied. In view of the actual situation of current environmental design, starting with the actual cases of environmental ceramic art, this paper discusses how to express the designer's thoughts and feelings in different design languages from modeling, decoration and spatial arrangement, and how to make the design language interact with the audience and achieve its rational application in the creation of environmental ceramic art in different ways. Therefore, the design language is an important design element of environmental ceramics, and different design languages have different emotional expression. The design language not only can fit the environment ceramic art in harmonious unity with the surroundings, but also can facilitate its heart and mind interaction with the audience.
