Abstract: This paper summarizes and analyzes the research and development of foreign advanced structural ceramics and the development of industrial application. It focuses on the applications and the achievements of Japan, the United States and Europe in the last two decades, including nano-ceramics, microwave ceramics, laser ceramics, bio-ceramics, environmentally friendly ceramics, ultra-high temperature ceramics, Ceramic matrix composite, electronic and optical communication ceramics, semiconductor chip package ceramics, etc. It shows the specific application and market demand of structural ceramic materials in the industrial field and modern technology, and analyzes the characteristics and advantages of advanced ceramic enterprises that have influence in the world.
