Abstract: Celadon of Yaozhou Kiln is one of the successful monochrome glazed products in Chinese history, which has unique historical development track and excellent traditional characteristics. Restricted by the historical inertia of porcelain craft and the level of scientific and technological application of natural environment, although it has traditional aesthetic memory and charm, it faces the constraints of contemporary aesthetics and market acceptance. With the rapid development of society and the diversification of aesthetic needs, the single color glazed products of Yaozhou Kiln cannot meet the diversified material and spiritual needs of nowadays people. In this paper, Yaozhou Kiln is taken as the research entrance, in order think about the problems and reasons of the domestic single color glaze porcelains and discuss how to better develop the domestic single color glaze kiln porcelains in the future.
