Abstract: High-temperature piezoelectric ceramic materials are very urgently demanded for applications in the fields of new energies, oil well drilling, aerospace, automobile industry and national defense. At present, more and more attention has been paid to the search for high temperature piezoelectric materials. Physical mechanisms to raise the Curie temperature of piezoelectric ceramics are discussed in this paper. Meanwhile, commonly available piezoelectric ceramics will be introduced, covering crystal structure, high temperature piezoelectric properties, research progress and applications. In addition, the performance and progress of various perovskite-type high-temperature piezoelectric ceramics are summarized in detail, while their future development directions are accordingly proposed.

Key words: high temperature piezoelectric ceramics; Curie temperature; progress and application; perovskite
