In these two decades, original and expressive pieces still dominated modern ceramic artworks, new generations of artists born in the 70s and 80s were emerging, and massive ceramic art biennial exhibitions and invitational exhibitions were organized in the late 1990s, which significantly promoted modern ceramic art.
