Abstract:Engineering ceramics are widely applied in many fields because of their wonderful physical, chemical and mechanical properties. At present, grinding and machining with a diamond tool, mainly the grinding wheel, is the essential way of removal processing for engineering ceramics. In this work, new progress in the research on engineering ceramics grinding in recent years was summarized, and the surface damage in ceramics grinding was analyzed.
