Abstract: N-doped TiO2 with anatase crystal structure was prepared by using hydrothermal and solid state reaction, using Ti(SO4)2 as a precursor, urea as a precipitator and dopant of nitrogen source. The crystal structure of the photocatalyst was characterized by XRD. The photocatalytic degradation of methylence blue was used as model reaction to evaluate the visible light activity of nitrogen-doped TiO2 samples prepared at different calcining temperatures. The results indicate that the nitrogen atom was doped into TiO2 when the calcining temperature was above 160℃, and the doped content of N increased slightly with the calcining temperature increasing. When the calcining temperature was 200℃, the sample had the best photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methylence blue under visible -light wavelength above 400 nm, and the photocatalytic results showed that 62.5% methylence blue was degraded after 4 h reaction.
