Preparation of Al2O3－SiC Nano Ceramic Composite by Mixing Multi－Phases Aqueous Suspensions

Abstract: Preparation of Al₂O₃－matrix ceramics with uniform dispersion of nano SiC particles was presented with two aqueous suspensions mixed．With PMAA－NH₄ as a dispersantthe conditions of high stibilized and dispersed SiC（n）suspension and Al₂O₃suspension were investigated respectively．And the conditions of two solid phases uniform mixing and dispersion as well as flocculation in suspension were concluded．The mechanical properties of hot－pressed Al₂O₃－SiC（n） ceramic composite was increased．
