Thermal Stress Analysis on the Functionally Gradient Ceramic Material

Abstract: Functionally gradient ceramic material（FGCM） is a kind of nonhomogeneous material．Thermal stress can appear in the FGCM because of the different thermal expansion in a given temperature field．An analytical formula is obtained in this paper and can be used as a calculational method for designing and produceing the FGCM．
