Abstract: The value of Li Pinchang's( eramics lies in his renewal of ceramic view points and development of ceramic art language. Shifting from the conventional ceramic sulpture by copying and imitating obfjcts from nature, be develops a new style of recompositi-on aod expression of objects coincident with his own ideality. With deliberated incomplete beautiful materials he opens up appreciating aesthetic potential features of material texture and techniques. Through nameless shaping, he displays a feeling of aesthetic standard and desired expression by his works.
