A Study on the Application of Z-Transfer Function Method for Heat Transfer Engineering in Furnace

Abstract: In this paper, the author describes in detail the calculatin method of Z transfer coefficient (ZTF) in one-dimensional linear system and approaches to the application of Ztrans£ er functi­on system method (ZTFM) for the calculation and measurement of heat transfer engineering and fuel saving in furnace. The method of calculating heat-£ low density from the surface temperature by ZTFM is tested with the tunnel kiln cars, and the experimental results agree with the calculation results of the ZTFM theory, which proves that ZTFM is applicable for the calculation of heat transfer process of the tunnel kiln cars and interval furnace. The author believes it possible to calculate the ZTF in multi­dimensional system on the basis of the Finite Element Method (FEM) and the Z— transfer function theory for extensional uses.
