Research on Ferric Separation Technology from Kaolir

Abstract: Kaolin in Jiangxi area generally has high ferro conlenl and is nol coin­cident with lhe industrial requirements in manufacturing the porcelains with high whiteness, Beginning with using the kaolin in original state occurring in Shaziling, Linchuan area, Jiangxi Province, as the experimental samples, and with studying its compositions, and according to the behaviour and characteristics of the raw material, this paper introdu(,es the using of high-gradient magnetic separators and the process of ferric separation technology, For this reason, a series of ferric separation experiments have been made, reducing the Fe2O3 content in the raw material from 1,47% to 0,7%. The deferrization ratio is nearly as much as 65% as a result.
