The Application and Status of Microwave- Assisted Firing Technology in the Inorganic Materials

Abstract: Microwave- as s is ted firing, which will be used more widely and even more preferable than only microwave firing technology,is a novel technology. It can offset some problems brought by microwave - only firing. The bas ic theories , technological characteris tic and present equipments of microwave - as s is ted firing were s imply introduced in this paper. And the shortcomings of microwave- as s is ted firing in the field of the inorganic materials were analyzed. Then some solutions were also put forward.
