New Style of the Kang-Yong-Qian Period Enamel Porcelain Painting under the Influence of Hercynian Painting Techniques

Abstract: Possible connection and interaction between Hercynian painting techniques and enamel porcelain painting was discussed, from the aspects of the rise and development of the Hercynian paintings of palace art in the Qing Dynasty, the participation of the palace painters in the design of drawings and patterns and the popularity and promotion of line paintings. The evolution in the new era and artistic fashion of the enamel painting in the cultural exchange of “Western learning spreading to the East” in the Qing Dynasty were studied, in order to explore the artistic transformation of the enamel painting from decoration to painting and then to the ultimate expression in the period of Kang-Yong-Qian period.
