Abstract: Hongzhou Kiln is an important kiln site in ancient Southern China, which was one of the six famous sites in the Tang Dynasty. It was known as Hongzhou Kiln because of the administration of Hongzhou Prefecture in the Tang Dynasty. Hongzhou Celadon had been produced since the Eastern Han Dynasty and the technique became matured gradually in the Jin Dynasty. The Celadon wares were sold from place to place with various kinds, with large production in the form exquisite crafts, during the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The glaze of Hongzhou Celadon was crystal and smooth, similar to ice and jade. The outstanding achievement of Hongzhou Kiln has been well reflected by the rich forms, graceful shapes, elegant decorations, traditional features and innovation, thus promoting the spread and development of Hongzhou Celadon Wares.
