Abstract: ZnO nanocrystalline aggregates (NAs)/nanosheets (NSs) composite film was prepared via hydrothermal method, with suspending the ZnO NAs film upside-down in a sealed bottle containing an aqueous solution of 0.07 mol/L zinc nitrate and urea. The reaction temperature and time were 90ºC and 7 h. The phase composition and morphology of ZnO NAs powders and ZnO films were characterized by XRD,SEM and TEM. J-V curves of the dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were tested by the solar simulator and Keithley 2400. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was also carried out to analyze the internal electronic transmission performance. The results showed that the short circuit current density (Jsc), open circuit voltage(Voc), fill factor (FF) and photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) of the DSSCs assembled with ZnO NAs/NSs composite films were 17.07 mA·cm-2, 0.69 V, 0.68 and 8.01%, respectively. Compared with ZnO NAs DSSCs,the photoelectric conversion efficiency of ZnO NAs/NSs DSSCs increased by 76.43%.
