Abstract: This paper takes a look at the history of the five colored porcelain,analyzing its traditional aesthetic essence and aesthetic changes throughout the time to rediscover the aesthetic value and significance of the five colored porcelain. It suggests that the five colored porcelain should reflect the aesthetics of the time by innovating the traditional content and forms to usher in a new age.
