Abstract: This article focuses that how ceramic design will innovate. It makes the relevant discussion in four aspects of the practice of ceramic design: timely change, balance between similarity and difference, reasonable combination, and resource transformation. It proposes that the designers and artists may have the power to make the unity between their theory and practice and solve problems when they explore or draw on the successful experience of their design.
