Abstract: In this paper, single-tube α-Al2O3 ceramic support body was prepared by extrusion molding and solid particles sintering. The effect of sintering system on the properties of α-Al2O3 ceramic support with TiO2-MgO-MnO2 was studied. The microstructure, phase composition, mechanical strength, acid and alkali corrosion resistant, porosity and pure water flux of samples were characterized by SEM, XRD, three point bending method, mass loss method, liquid static weighing method, and homemade device for pure water flux. The results show that the optimum sintering temperature of α-Al2O3 ceramic support is 1300 ℃, and the porosity of the prepared sample is 44.84 %, the bending strength is 80.21 MPa, the pure water flux is 8979.37 L/m2·h·MPa, and the acid / base corrosion weight loss rate is 0.87% / 1.09%. Finally it’s confirmed the suitable sintering system is as follows: heating at a uniform rate of 12 ℃/min, 6 ℃/min, 12 ℃/min, 4 ℃/min respectively in 30-200 ℃, 200-350 ℃, 350-800 ℃, and 800-1200 ℃, and then heat soaking for 30 min, 60 min and 120 min respectively at 350 ℃, 800 ℃ and 1200 ℃, and finally cooling to room temperature.
