Abstract: This paper analyzes the importance and urgency of inheriting and innovating the famille rose painting for accelerating and enhancing cultural confidence in the process of globalization. It uses literature, investigation, semiotics and other methods to study its inheritance and innovation concepts, ideas and approaches, including the innovative talent training model, innovative themes and motifs, innovative craft skills and materials technology, innovative artistic expressions, innovative art exchange and display platforms. The study is based on the transmission of the famille rose painting skills and excellent Chinese traditional culture to enhance Chinese cultural confidence while in the meantime exploring the contemporary spirit to produce innovative works that meet the spiritual and aesthetic needs of the times, and follow the international art trends.
