Abstract: Incising decoration of ceramics is one of the earliest ceramic decoration techniques, almost from the beginning of pottery. After a long period of development and evolution, as well as the mutual influence and absorption with other arts and crafts, formed its own unique style and system were gradually developed. It has not only rich categories, beautiful lines and combination with transparent glaze, but also relatively fixed type and form of patterns. It was somehow the most important decorative art of ceramics for thousands of years before the popularity of painted ceramics in Ming and Qing Dynasties, thus playing an irreplaceable role in the history of ceramics.
