Abstract: As an emerging industry with high added value, creative industry has attracted widespread attention because of its brand new features in which traditional industries cannot rival and its immense influence that is felt on the society, economy, culture and other aspects. However, little research has been done on its essence, connotation, characteristics, development and inspiration for other industries. To fill in this research gap, this paper systematically addresses the above issues by observing the possible development of Jingdezhen ceramic industry in the creative sector to provide inspirations for Jingdezhen ceramic creative industry.
