Abstract:  Handmade utilitarian pottery is a branch of Jingdezhen ceramics developed by innovatively inheriting the traditional ceramics. Compared with the traditional, the handmade utilitarian pottery works are popular for their hand-painted patterns, personalized designs and original concepts. They also make a trend in the market. However, there are also problems hidden behind their popularity, including weak brands, inefficient marketing, etc. The only way to solve these problems to further develop Jingdezhen handmade utilitarian pottery is to build strong ceramic brands, to introduce low carbon economic models, and to integrate technology with art.
