Abstract:Tb3+ doped SrO-MgO-SiO2 luminescent glass-ceramics were prepared by the melting method. The structure and luminescent properties of the glass-ceramics prepared at different temperatures were studied by X-ray diffraction. The results indicated that the excitation wavelengths of Tb3+ doped SrO-MgO-SiO2 glass-ceramics ranged from 350 nm to 500 nm, the excitation peaks were located at 350 nm,375 nm and 485 nm while the major excitation peak was located at 485 nm. Tb3+ doped SrO-MgO-SiO2 glass-ceramics under excitation of 485nm could emit green light, showing emission peaks at 584 nm and the major emission peak at 541 nm. With the annealing temperature increasing, the position of the fluorescent spectrum peak did not change, but the fluorescence spectrum intensity did present an increasing trend.
