Abstract: High temperature dust removal material was prepared from aluminum silicate fibers by vacuum filtering and heat treatment. The microstructure, fiber dispersibility, pore size and pore size distribution of the as -prepared samples were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), metallographic microscope and mercury intrusion porosimeter respectively. The results show that the flexural strength is 3.14 MPa, the filtration resistance is 79.75 Pa/m/min, the pore diameter is between 10 ~ 80 μm, the total pore volume is 70.23%, and the porosity is 72.99%. The porous aluminum silicate ceramic fiber material with high flexural strength and porosity and low filtration resistance can be used to filter dust particles at high temperatures.
