La1.2Sr0.8Co0.8Ni0.2O4+δCathode Material for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell

Abstract:  La1.2Sr0.8Co0.8Ni0.2O4 +δ cathode powder was prepared by sol-gel process using polyacrylic acid, citric acid and urea as complexing agents and calcining at 800℃. Composite cathode of LSCN and GDC was formed by screen printing. The phase, particle size and structure of the powder, the structure and electric performance of the electrode and so on were analyzed by XRD, TEM, ED, SEM, mercury porosimetry and electrochemical workstation, respectively. The results show that, La1.2Sr0.8Co0.8Ni0.2O4 +δ cathode powder in orthogonal crystal structure with particle size of about 80 nm was obtained after being calcined at 800℃. The stable and excellent electric performance of single cell was displayed when the mixture of H2 and H2O is used as fuel at 750℃.
