Abstract:  Mesoporous nickel aluminate spinel nanopowders were synthesized by the evaporation induced self-assembly (EISA) method using triblock copolymer Pluronic F127 as surfactant, aluminum chloride and nickel chloride as inorganic precursors. The structure, specific surface area, pore size and morphology of samples were characterized by XRD, nitrogen adsorptiondesorption and TEM. The results show the samples are of spinel type structure and their pore sizes are within the mesoporous range. The sample calcined at 650℃ has the largest specific surface area of 90.1m2·g-1.

Key words:  evaporation-induced self-assembly; nickel aluminate spinel; mesoporous; nanomaterials
