Abstract: Longquan celadon ware looks like ice and jade, and reaches the top of artistry. Chinese landscape painting also has achieved its own spiritual sublimation over thousands of years. Through the ages, the main decoration techniques for celadon ware are carving, incising and sgraffito. Under -glaze decoration is a rarity. In order to seek a breakthrough in decorative material, expressive technique and firing skill, this paper explores the theoretical and practical possibility of doing Chinese traditional landscape painting in under -glaze colors on celadon ware through the analysis of the combination principle for longquan celadon ware and Chinese landscape painting in order to broaden the range of decoration techniques for Longquan celadon ware and to lay a foundation for the development of under-glaze decoration on Longquan ware.
