Abstract: Spinel zinc ferrite nanoscale materials with high specific surface area and low impedence have good gas sensing properties. The methods by which they are prepared remarkably influence their micromorphology and sensitivity. This paper summarizes the progress of the research on zinc ferrite as a sensor material and predicts its future prospects.
