Application of AC Impedance Technique in Research on Zirconia Electrolytes

Abstract: This paper introduces the principle of the complex impedance measurement for AC circuits and reviews particularly the application of this technique in the research on zirconia-based solid electrolytes. It also provides much evidence to prove the vital importance of AC impedance spectroscopy for testing of the electrical properties of zirconia-based solid electrolytes.
