Abstract: Hot air drying at various temperatures for the tape-cast YSZ membrane with the initial thickness of 0.4mm (± 0.03) was studied. The influence of airflow rate on drying is remarkable. The higher the airflow rate, the faster the drying; the lower the airflow rate, the slower the drying; rate; in the late stage of drying, the three different airflow rates make almost no drying difference. The thicker the tape cast membrane, the slower the drying; the thinner the membrane, the quicker the drying; the airflow at too high a temperature or too fast a velocity will lower the membrane performance. The setting of the hot -air drying parameters must consider the quality requirements of the actual products. The obtained Page model correctly reflects the drying process of layered hydrosol. It can provide reference for the actual production.
