Forms and Artistic Features of Han Dynasty Stone Carvings

Abstract:In the powerful Han Dynasty, stone carvings reached a climax and became the particular product of that era. By analyzing the forms of Han Dynasty stone carvings, this paper summarizes five of their unique features: rich contents, skilled craftsmanship, time-specific style, bold imagination and romantic feelings.
