Abstract:In this study, the mathematical model for the polishing machine's movement has been established by analyzing the grinding and polishing processes of several tile polishing machines. Then the model is used to simulate their trajectories.The uniformity of the grinding marks and the sizes of the grinding area are compared. The results show that the planetary grinder has improved grinding efficiency and better uniformity of grinding marks.
