Abstract:In this paper, using acrylamide as a monomer, and N, N ' -methylene diacrylamide as a crosslinking agent, sanitary ceramics were gel cast. The influences of monomer content, crosslinking agent, water and ball milling time on slurry viscosity, demoulding time and flexural strength were studied by orthogonal experiment. Research shows that the addition of suitable organic monomer and crosslinking agent can greatly reduce the slurry viscosity and promote gelation, which helps to improve body strength. Within a certain range, the particle size will decrease with milling time increasing, which results in easy casting slurry with good fluidity and low viscosity.
