Abstract: Microstructures of TiB2-TiCx Multiphas e Ceramics were studied with OM，XRD, TEM and SEM in detail with emphasis on the principle of in- situ synthesis of Ti- B4C. The results show that Ti3B4 exists stably in the resultant, and the temperature is important in determining the morphology of the Ti3B4 phase.
