Abstract: Three - dimensional numerical simulation of gas- fired open- flame roller kiln burners was done using FLUENT software. The simulation of the burning conditions in the firing zone of the roller kiln and the study of different flowing rates of the flue gas in this zone on the temperature inside the kiln and the burning velocity of the burners will afford useful references for operating the roller kiln.
