Abstract: A site and B site complex substitute of PbNb2O6 based piezoelectric ceramic had been investigated by CeO2,Sm2O3, Nd2O3,Cr2O3,Y2O3 or BaCO3 modification. The effects of thes e substitutions on the ceramic structures were also studied to im- prove the piezoelectric properties and Curie temperatures. The results showed that, the microstructure of the modified PbNb2O6 changed, with the substitutions and have high Curie Temperature (420~600℃),which can suit able for 350℃and 500℃ high temperature application. The optimized properties are Tc≥600℃, d33=47, tgδ≤0.17。
