Abstract: Polypyrrole derivant/VXG composite film was synthesized by simply mixing water- soluble polypyrrole derivant, poly (N,N, N- trimethyl- (2- pyrrol- 1- yl- ethyl)- ammonium iodide) (PTPAI), with V2O5 sol. Electrochemical investigations were conducted by electrochemical impedance spectros copy (EIS) and cyclic voltammgrams. The result showed that equivalent circuit of PPy/ VXG was R1(Q1[R2W1]), Rs=160.215 Ω, Rct=6278.86 Ω, CPE=1.73216×10- 4 F, ion diffusion coefficient 4.37×10- 12cm2/s (- 0.5V). The redox potential of VXG was improved by PPy doped. Another lower redox potential appeared in the cyclic voltammgram curve due to the redox of PTPAI in the VXG.
