Abstract: In this study, tetragonal ZrO2 (3Y) nanopowder was obtained by hydrothermal process, using the aqueous solution of the composite mineralizer K2CO3/KOH as a reaction agent, and was then characterized by XRD, TEM, BET, etc. Results show: with the increas e of the concentration of K2CO3/KOH, the specific surface area of ZrO2 (3Y) powder decreas es, equivalent specific surface diameter for ring pellet reveals upward tendency and crystalline size becomes larger; with the increas e of K2CO3/KOH ratio (1, 2, 3), the specific surface area of the powder registers remarkable downward tendency due to the greater concentration of the mineralizer.

Keywords: Zr2O3(3Y) nanopowder, hydrothermal method, mineralizer
