Abstract: The infruence of sintering to design of SiC and its composite material is analysized‚the feature and development of new sintering technology is reviewed．In this paper‚the sintering mechanism and activated sintering of SiC and composite material are discussed．Finally‚the multi－purpose and multi－comporent system sintering additives of SiC and its composite material are reported．
