Abstract: This paperfrom the viewpoint of metal cutting and processingall－sidedly analyses the impacts on processing precisioncaused by various factors of the Orientation system of vitrified porcelain tile side－grinding ＆ angle－cutting machine tool．Through study and analysisthe paper establishes some error－calculating formulasand points out the use of six－point orientation principle in orientating workpiecesand the impacts caused by processing methods on processing precisionand the importance of improving the geometric precisions of various orientating criterion components and fur hermore some concerning problems deserving to be paid attention to when in design and manufacture．
