Relations Between the Body Composition and the Properties of Jingdezhen’s Porcelain

Abstract: The body of Jingdezhen’s porcelain are usually composed of two or more kinds of kaolin and china stone．The bodies of the Jingdezhen’s porcelain are studied in this paper‚that are composed of Xingzi kaolin‚Dazhou kaolin‚Nangang china stone and Sanbaopeng china stone．That are determined whose shrinkage‚the water absorption‚the bulk density and the apparent porosity of all bodies‚that bodies are fired separately at1050℃‚1180℃‚1260℃and1310℃．It is discussed in the paper that relations between those properties at different firing temperature and the composition of those bodies．
