A Study of Raising the Strength of Aluminium Titanale Ceramic

Abstract:  By experiment,the relative effect of the addition of alumi-nium titanate ceramic and firing rules on the strength of aluminium titanate ceramic have been discussed in detail.And a new kind of complex aluminiun titanate ceramic material has been developed, whose matrix is aluminium titanate, strengthened by mu1lite, Zircon and otler crystals. The material possessed a good stability in high tenperature(1000-13000℃),a high bending-strength (= 500kg/cm2) ,a 1ow thermal expansion coefficient and an excellent heat-shock resistent property.
