Abstract: The paper has made an approach to the microstructure of the clay-fused quartz sagger with its increases in use by means of SEM and EPA. The stress of each phases in the sagger in change and its effects on this sagger has been analyzed. The study showed that in order to improve further quality of this sagger,it is necessary to slow the crystallization of the fused quartz and change the composition binder.
