Abstract: This article has developed a procedure of determing the contents of potassium and sodium in silicate materials with ISE,and deduced an equation for calculating sodium content.With HCL-triethanolamine as the TISAB，at PH=9.5 the potassium is determined by single standard addition method. In the same aliquot solution, the sodium is determined by comparing electric potential. To eliminate interference from the potassium, the reference solution w ith equal amounts of potassium as in the test solution is prepared.
