Abstract: Th rough the medium of the method of mathematic analysis the theoretical solutions for the material's thermal stress of three simple- form bodies (flat plate, cylinder and sphere) are derived. Based on these, the thermal stability is theoretically calculated for some ceramic materials. Finally the thermal stability of ceramic-Al2O3 has been tested, and the experimental results goorl agree with the theoretical solutions. It shows that ·the theoretical calculation method can be used as thermal stress in designing of high-tempcrature machine calculate.
