The Judeghement Calculation of HeaLabsorbing Peak Characteristic Temperature According to the DTA Curve of Kaolinite and Its Application

Abstract: On the basis of DTA curve, this paper presents a new method, determining the final temperature of the endothermic effect of clay mineral (kaolinite) dehydroxylation. The result obtained by that method is in agreement with that of measuring the loss in weight and the activation energy. The experimenting results also show that the temperature range of dehydration calorific effect is in close relationship with the crystallinity of clay mineral and independent of the speed of rising temperatuJe.
